Initial situation:

In logistics, paper receipts are still part of everyday life, which often leads to late bookings, invoices and annoyance due to lost receipts. WBG Pooling also experienced this situation, especially when delivering or collecting load carriers. CMR and the own receipts from forwarders, shippers and recipients had to be signed off and transferred to WBG Pooling’s RTP management – a process that was often time-consuming and required frequent enquiries.

Our solution:

To pave the way for full digitalisation, we developed P2D – Paper to digital. This solution makes it possible to record and transmit delivery and collection receipts directly on site from any smartphone without installing an app.

A QR code on the receipt or a specific link opens the smartphone browser. The receipt is scanned and transmitted with just two clicks.

At WBG Pooling, the receipt is imported directly into the workflow of the document management system and is immediately visible to everyone involved in the myWBG Pooling web portal.

The impact:

Bookings are now made much faster and differences and document requests have been significantly reduced. Service providers, such as haulage companies or network partners, no longer have to scan and send the receipts later.
